Psalm 109:8: the question is whether or not the appearance of the following verse is supposed to be “funny”, sinister or an attention getter in time for the Christmas rush for unique items to buy? Here is what it says: In the New International Version translations, that verse reads:
May his days be few; may another take his place of leadership.
But what is creepy about this verse is the passages after it! Go read them for yourself. The passage is supposed to be addressing unjust rulers who should be slaughtered. The Tree of Liberty has to be seen as a loaded weapon. Reflection is operating on a religious level. The Christian Science Monitor questions the use of these verses. What we must ask ourselves is whether this extreme group of the Republican far right is really the American version of the Muslim Jihad? It is believed that their numbers are about 22 million Americans who call themselves conservative, the right majority calling on a Holy War. Christian magazines aren’t asking for why this was even started. This is a holy horror where the leaders of the Christian right are not speaking against this. Those voices aren’t being heard.

said on Rachel Maddow show “that these leaders should be made culpable. Before they accused President Barack Obama as a Muslim, then he wasn’t an America. Now he is an unjust ruler. Are evangelical groups enthralled with trawling for an assassin … it is not funny stuff anymore”.

It will only take one that the threat level is 400% in 52 years of any president so I ask, how in the hell did that couple manage to enter the State Dinner with a Bravo television crew in tow? The Secret Service need to get on their J-O-B-S.
Some friends of mine from the Obama Rapid response team made mention of the alternate verse: There are "Pray for Obama" slogan products that bear an alternative scripture reference: 1 Timothy 2:1-2, which reads in the NIV:
I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone
For kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
Who would have ever thought that the Christian Crusaders and using the Bible hadn’t been eliminated from our political perspective and supplemented with hate? Personally, I like the idea of the separation of Church and State.
